Zusammenfassung
Aizawa Haruki, 16 years old, is in his 2nd year of high school, and likes to live efficiently. One day during summer vacation, a girl, Aizawa Himari, suddenly appears, calling him 'Onii-chan' and claiming that she's his little sister. As it turns out, Haruki's father recently remarried, and his new wife brought a daughter with her. However, since both of their parents are overseas, it'll only be the two of them living under the same roof. And for some reason, Himari seems very obstinate about spending as much time with Haruki as she can.

Himari no Mawari review
If you're looking for a cute romcom, go somewhere else before you get dissapointed by an axed manga.
Story: 6/10 Just your typical romcom, nothing outstanding here. Our antisocial protagonist suddendly gets a little sisters and stuff happens. The pacing is quite misleading though, any time the story seems to be going somewhere it just stops itself in its track. Art: 7/10 It's the strongest part of this manga. The art is quite good and the characters have charming designs. Characters: 6/10 The characters were fine, nothing out of this world. Just normal, what you would expect from a romcom. Enjoyment: 7/10 I'm quite fond of romcoms so of course I enjoyed this manga while it lasted. It would've been nice if it went somewhere and didn't get axed though. Overall: 4/10 This was a manga that had the potential to become something slyghtly below BokuBen or Gotoubun, but its axing robbed it of that possibility. What you see here is just the sad grave of an unfinished product. |
